Car Seat Education for Expectant Parents

This hands‑on education class is designed to help expectant parents feel confident and prepared to keep their baby safe on every ride. Participants will learn how to choose the proper car seat for their child’s age and stage, along with step‑by‑step guidance on how to secure their newborn safely and comfortably in the seat.

The class includes a live demonstration on how to correctly install a car seat in the vehicle, covering common installation mistakes and how to avoid them. Parents will also learn how to check for a proper fit, ensure the harness is positioned correctly, and understand when it’s time to transition to the next type of seat.

In addition, we will review proper seat belt placement for pregnant mothers to help protect both parent and baby during pregnancy.
