Friends and family are welcomed and encouraged to visit patients at Willis-Knighton. Visitors help provide a support system for patients. Good visitors support not only their loved one, but the physicians and staff who provide patient care.

Please be positive and respectful. Only come to visit when you are in good health and well-rested. When you are visiting a patient who is hospitalized for an extended time, pay attention to your own well-being by eating meals regularly and getting plenty of rest.

At Willis-Knighton, patient care always comes first. This means that visitation must occasionally be restricted if the care team determines that the presence of visitors could affect patient care. Sometimes patients or their designated support person may choose to limit visitors, and the hospital staff must abide by their wishes. Some areas in the hospital have additional specialized guidelines. These guidelines are posted or provided at those locations.
