Orthopedic Services
Orthopedic surgeons offer a variety of treatments, some within their offices, some in surgery and some through rehabilitative therapy at Willis-Knighton. They may also recommend medical devices or supports that immobilize the area or limit range of motion to enhance healing. Several surgical procedures, advances in the field, were first offered in our region by surgeons at Willis-Knighton, including Kyphoplasty, anterior hip replacement and the customized ConforMIS 3D knee replacement.
Many minimally-invasive procedures are used to enhance treatment, recovery and patient comfort. Rehabilitation services are offered at multiple locations around the community for patient convenience, and inpatient rehabilitation services are available at the WK Rehabilitation Institute.
