Sarah McCann McNeill, MD, FAAP, has joined Willis Knighton Preferred Pediatrics, part of the Willis Knighton Physician Network. As a pediatrician, she provides comprehensive medical care through every stage of a child’s growth, from infancy through adolescence.
A graduate of LSU-Shreveport, Dr. McNeill attended medical school at LSU Health Shreveport, where she received her Doctorate of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency at the same location.
Mom to a son and daughter, Dr. McNeill believes her role as a mother has made her a better doctor. “I have a much deeper understanding now of how hard parenting can be, and I know we are all just doing the best we can with the information and resources we have,” she says.
Away from the clinic, Dr. McNeill spends time outdoors – fishing, swimming or kayaking with her family. She also loves to cook and entertain, and during quiet moments, crochet.
Dr. McNeill accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
