Lauren Sartin, MD, has joined Willis Knighton Internal Medicine Associates, part of the Willis Knighton Physician Network. Specializing in comprehensive adult primary care, she focuses on treating, managing and preventing complex chronic conditions and severe illness. She prides herself on seeing her patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings so that “the same doctor treating you in the clinic will be the same one treating you in the hospital.”
Dr. Sartin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at Mississippi State University in Starkville before receiving her medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Willis Knighton Health.
At Willis Knighton Internal Medicine Associates, Dr. Sartin evaluates, manages, diagnoses and treats conditions of the heart, blood, kidneys, thyroid and joints, as well as the digestive, respiratory and vascular systems. She has a special interest in geriatrics and obesity medicine/medical weight loss.
Away from the office, Dr. Sartin loves to travel with her husband and has visited several countries and 49 of the U.S. states. A trip to the last state – North Dakota – is in her future. Family board game nights and gardening are also passions.
Dr. Sartin accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
