Ambulance Transport
In some instances, a patient may require a specialty that is available at another Willis-Knighton location. Willis-Knighton Ambulance Transport will transfer patients, accompanied by the appropriate staff and equipment for the short trip. The Willis Knighton Ambulance Transport staffing is based on patient needs. Our transport system has been in place for more than 30 years and has a variety of skilled support staff, including Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses.
Air Transport
If you or a loved one needs air transport, that service is available from private companies. These private air flight companies employ paramedics and/or registered nurses with specialized medical training as part of their flight crews. Willis Knighton routinely sends and receives patients with these companies to help speed care for patients with critical needs.
