Christopher S. Chandler, MD, graduated from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center where he was intimately involved in quality improvement as a chief resident. He completed his fellowship in abdominal organ transplant and hepatobiliary surgery at University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Chandler is board certified in general surgery (American Board of Surgery).

His affiliations include the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. He is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.

Dr. Chandler publishes in peer-reviewed journals and presents at national conferences.
