Christian Abrahim, MD, has joined Willis Knighton Pierremont Cardiology, part of the Willis Knighton Physician Network.  His office is located at 1811 E. Bert Kouns, Suite 210, where he will provide general and interventional cardiovascular care.

Dr. Abraham grew up in Trinidad and Tobago, a Caribbean island where he received a national scholarship to pursue his medical degree from the University of the West Indies. He completed an internal medicine residency and chief residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York City, where he was nominated to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for his role in education and recognized for outstanding clinical performance at graduation.  He completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at The University of Massachusetts Chan - Baystate Medical Center, and his interventional cardiology fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.

Dr. Abrahim puts first the best interests of his patients as he helps them arrive at the best treatment decisions. Along with advances in techniques and disease management, the fundamentals of empathy, communication and education are paramount to the care he provides.
