Treatment Philosophy

Dr. Jaramillo’s treatment philosophy is patient and family centered. He is here to serve the patient and their families and deliver excellent patient care.

Specialized Interests / Training

Dr. Jaramillo’s clinical interest focuses on tumors in the Head and Neck, Thorax, and Genito-Urinary area. However, he happily accepts patients with all malignancies needing the care of a radiation oncologist. He has specialized training in stereotactic radiotherapy (including SRS and SBRT/SABR), imaging-guidance radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Interstitial and Intracavitary High Dose Rate Brachytherapy (HDR), re-irradiation of previously irradiated tumors, and Intensity Modulated Proton Therapy (IMPT). He has published on the treatment of multiple cancers with photon and proton therapy. He has presented his research at multiple regional, national and international meetings.

Dr. Jaramillo is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), American Brachytherapy Society (ABS), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Particle Therapy Oncology Group (PTOG), Particle Therapy Cooperative Group-North America (PTCOG-NA).
