Dr. Katz is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology and specializes in cancers of the upper aerodigestive tract with a particular interest and clinical focus on cancers of the head and neck.

His research area of interest is in the clinical development of technologies and pharmacologic agents to reduce treatment-related side effects in patients undergoing radiation for cancer of the head and neck.
