How to Prepare for Your Sleep Study
Take all medications as your physician has prescribed as well as any over-the-counter medications that you may take. Make sure to bring a list of all medications.
Please avoid alcohol and caffeine on the day/evening of your study.
Bring lose comfortable clothes. Pillows are provided but you may bring your own if you wish.
Come with clean hair no oils, sprays, or gels.
Eat your evening meal before you arrive to your appointment. If you have a medical condition that requires a snack before bed-time, please bring that with you.
There may be a short period before the tech applies electrodes. Please feel free to watch TV or read a book during this time.
Insurance co-pay is due at the time of sleep study or before.
