Neurology – Neurologists are physicians who are specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord and the nerves and muscles they control. Neurologists are often consulted for nerve pain, muscular weakness, sleep disorders and stroke but treat a wide range of conditions.
Neurosurgery – Neurosurgeons who uses surgical techniques to treat diseases and injuries to the brain, spinal cord and the nerves and muscles they control. While neurosurgeons are uniquely trained for surgery, they may also offer conservative techniques that are nonsurgical.
