Dr. Kitchings is a Shreveport native whose life and upbringing have been centered on serving others.

The son of a Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputy and an elementary school teacher, Dr. Kitchings knew from an early age that he wanted to dedicate himself to helping people.

He began his career in healthcare as a Respiratory Care Practitioner at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, and later attended medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, where he ultimately completed a residency in family medicine.

Dr. Kitchings is an outdoorsman who says he loves dogs and describes himself as an avid LSU sports fan.
