Michelle Correia Chico, MD, a native of Goa, India. She graduated from Goa Medical College in 1996 in India before moving to the United States. She continued her medical training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, where she served an internship and residency in Internal Medicine. During her residency training, she was selected as chief resident. Upon completion of the residency, she was selected for a fellowship in Endocrinology and completed that training in 2007. Since that time she has been in private practice locally, serving residents of Northwest Louisiana. Dr. Chico is Board Certified in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

When not practicing medicine or caring for her family, she enjoys playing the piano, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.
