Meet Dr. Lindsey T. Brown

Dr. Brown was born and raised in Brusly, a small town outside of Baton Rouge. She grew up raising lambs with her father in the 4-H program and being very involved in her community that led her to interest in the medicine field. Following high school at St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge, she attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

She completed her medical education at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. She finished her family medicine residency at LSU Family Medicine Rural program, spending two years of her training at North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian.

During medical school, Dr. Brown met her husband, Parker Brown, a small business owner in the Shreveport-Bossier area. He has taught her all of the unique treasures of Shreveport-Bossier, but she has always missed the community of a small town. Dr. Brown enjoys developing lasting relationships with each of her patients to help best serve their health and well-being. She is excited to have her practice become part of the wonderful community of Benton. When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Brown loves to binge Netflix with her husband, her dog Andi, and cat Jinxey. She also enjoys cross stitching, exercising and reading.
