Dr. Fred Kinder has been in private practice for over 12 years at Women’s Health Clinic as an OBGYN since completing his residency and medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. A board certified (American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology) physician, Dr. Kinder is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Hundreds of his patients in the Ark-La-Tex have benefited from his expertise in minimally invasive surgeries, as well as, multiple gestations, including triplet pregnancies. Dr. Kinder also specializes in vaginal birth after cesarean section.

Since joining the Willis-Knighton system, Dr. Kinder has served as the Chairman of the Department of OBGYN and Vice President of the Medical Staff.

Dr. Kinder attended Louisiana College where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Psychology in 1989 and went on to graduate school at the University of New Orleans. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kinder spends his time with his wife and four children. He also travels internationally on medical missions to care for patients in areas deprived of medical attention.
