Erin Lynn Haifley Clements was born in Opelousas, Louisiana. During childhood she lived in Baytown, Tx., and Ruston, La., where she graduated from high school and entered Louisiana Tech University to study biology and chemistry, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011. She earned her medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport in 2016. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the same institution in 2019 and has developed special interests in patient education, geriatric medicine, and preventive medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Clements enjoys living in the countryside north of Shreveport with her husband Sonny, and two dogs, Rusty and Noah. She and her husband are members of First Baptist Church in Vivian, La.
In her spare time, Dr. Clements enjoys watching US Women’s National Team soccer, Liverpool Football Club soccer, Louisiana Tech sports, Houston Astros baseball, and Saints football. She also loves traveling, studying the word of God, hunting, fishing, and visiting family.
