Dr. Emily Womack was born and raised in Bossier City. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Centenary College. Following that she completed her medical school education at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL

During residency, she served as chief administrative resident and received several awards, including recognition for her skills in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and care of high risk pregnancies

Dr. Womack is proud to be a part of the Shreveport-Bossier community. In her spare time she enjoys being with friends and family, cooking, and traveling.
