Dr. David F. Dies attended medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Dies then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology/Hepatology at St. Louis University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Dies is certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He currently serves as the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation at the John C. McDonald Regional Transplant Center. Dr. Dies has authored numerous peer reviewed publications with special interests in advanced liver and biliary disease and advanced ERCP procedures. Dr. Dies has served on the faculty at LSU Health Science Center, specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
