Dr. Christian Briery, a Louisiana native, obtained his medical doctorate at LSU Health Science Center Shreveport, Louisiana following his graduation with honors from Louisiana Tech University. During residency at LSUHSC, Dr. Briery developed an interest in complicated pregnancies.

He completed a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he was awarded a masters degree in Maternal Fetal Medicine.

After completing his fellowship training in 2006, Dr. Briery joined the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga as an Assistant Professor and was in private practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. In 2009, Dr. Briery returned to Shreveport and established Regional Perinatal Group.

Dr. Briery has published book chapters, numerous articles in multiple medical journals and has presented at the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine International Medical Conference.

He is happily married and is a proud father of three beautiful daughters. When not practicing medicine you will probably find him spending time with his family and watching the LSU Tigers or the New Orleans Saints.
