David Price, MD, has joined the Willis Knighton Physician Network, and will practice at Willis Knighton Urologic Oncology Pierremont. He provides surgical care for patients with benign and malignant diseases of the urinary system as well as treatment for general urology problems, including benign prostatic hyperplasia and kidney stones.

A native of Minden, Dr. Price has more than 28 years of experience performing complex urologic cancer procedures and more than 20 years of experience performing complex robotic surgical procedures. He earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. He chose his specialty during a general surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center, where he also completed his urology and urological oncology fellowships. While at Duke he was an American Foundation of Urological Disease Research Scholar.

Dr. Price says he feels humbled when patients put their life in his hands for surgery. He values developing long-term relationships with his patients.
