Kyle Planchard, MD, has joined The Orthopaedic Clinic, part of the Willis
Knighton Physician Network. His office will be located at 7925 Youree Drive, Suite 200, where he will offer management of sports related injuries. His surgical focus is knee and shoulder arthroscopy.
Dr. Planchard earned a degree in biological sciences at LSU Baton Rouge before attending University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine in Dallas. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, followed
by an orthopedic surgery sports medicine fellowship at American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
A contributor of many journal articles on orthopedics, Dr. Planchard also presents at conferences on topics such as improvement of meniscus tear classification systems and current research on the relationship between a pitcher’s size and the force
applied to their ulnar collateral ligament.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Dr. Planchard is excited to join the Shreveport community and be a part of the Willis Knighton family.
Dr. Planchard accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
