Shaheena Anene, MD, has joined WK Pediatrics Health & Wellness, part of the Willis-Knighton Physician Network. She provides care for children up to age 18 and feels especially privileged to care for children with developmental delays and special needs. Dr. Anene believes it’s important for families to know all of their care options so they are empowered to make strong healthcare decisions.

A graduate of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, Dr. Anene received her medical degree at American University of the Caribbean. She completed her pediatric residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

WK Pediatrics Health & Wellness is located at 909 Olive St. The practice also includes Virginia Carter, MD. The doctors accept new patients and most insurance plans.
