Joshua Maier, MD, has joined Endocrine & Thyroid Specialists, part of Willis-Knighton Physician Network. Dr. Maier treats patients at the clinic’s WK Pierremont Health Center location. He specializes in treatment of adults 18 years and older diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and other endocrine disorders.

A Louisiana native, Dr. Maier graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biological engineering and a minor in chemistry from LSU Baton Rouge. He followed with a medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport School of Medicine, also graduating summa cum laude. His clinical training included an internal medicine residency and an endocrinology fellowship at the same location. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Maier enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping them to approach health concerns in a holistic manner.
