Hollie Barr McCart, MD, has joined Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists in Shreveport.

Dr. McCart grew up in Shreveport, attending C.E. Byrd High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at LSU in Baton Rouge and a medical degree at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, where she also completed an internship followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. She offers a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services.

“Shreveport is my home. My husband and I know this is where we want to raise our family. I’m excited to establish my practice here to serve the women of the community,” she says. “I love the aspect of following a patient and forming a relationship with her.”  

Dr. McCart enjoys performing surgery but is skilled in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. “The obstetrics side is a very rewarding part of my job, to be a part of such a special time in someone’s life,” she says.

She also finds great satisfaction from performing minimally invasive surgery. “I really enjoy offering surgical solutions for patients and being on the leading edge of surgical techniques.”

WK Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists is located in Suite 600 of the WK Pierremont Medical Office Building, 8001 Youree Drive. The practice includes Erin M. Gullatt, MD; Lise M. Huddleston, MD; Lauren E. McCalmont, MD; Ricky Paul, MD, and Jeffery J. Hebert, MD.

Dr. McCart and her partners accept new patients and most insurance plans.
