Lise M. Huddleston, MD, has joined Pierremont OB/Gyn Specialists in Shreveport, where she emphasizes shared decision-making with her patients as one of the hallmarks of her practice.

“It’s really important to me to be able to treat patients from a young age all the way through menopause and all those stages of life,” she says. “It helps that I’m a mother. I’ve been through pregnancy, I’ve been through childbirth. I think that helps me relate to my patients on a deeper level.”

Within the broad scope of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Huddleston has a special interest in surgical interventions when needed.

Having grown up in Shreveport, Dr. Huddleston has deep connections to Shreveport, graduating from Loyola College Prep. After she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at LSU in Baton Rouge, she returned to Shreveport for a medical degree at LSU School of Medicine. She completed an internship and served a residency in obstetrics and gynecology here as well.

WK Pierremont OB/Gyn Specialists is located in Suite 600 of the WK Pierremont Medical Office Building, adjacent to the hospital. The practice includes Erin McCormick Gullatt, MD, Lauren McCalmont MD, and Ricky Paul, MD. Jeffery Hebert, MD, and Hollie B. McCart, MD, complete the group practice, and will begin seeing patients next July.

Dr. Huddleston and her partners accept new patients and most insurance plans.
