At the December medical staff meeting of the Willis-Knighton Health System, Jennifer Prime, MD, hospitalist at WK Pierremont Health Center in Shreveport, reflected on her role as a physician caring for patients hospitalized with COVID-19. Her powerful message reflects the thoughts and frustrations of the many doctors, nurses and support staff throughout the health system who are helping patients battle this novel coronavirus.
