Erin McCormick Gullatt, MD, FACOG, has joined  WK Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists in Shreveport. A Bossier City native, Dr. Gullatt attended Airline High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at LSU in Baton Rouge and a medical degree at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology in New Orleans. Prior to joining Willis-Knighton, she was in private practice in Monroe. She offers a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, including minimally invasive surgery.

As an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Gullatt works with women of all ages and has a particular interest in treating adolescents. “I feel like that’s a very impressionable age and I enjoy giving those young girls knowledge and confidence in themselves and their health.”

Dr. Gullatt grew up in a close-knit family with two sisters so relating to and communicating with women is one of her strengths. “Willis-Knighton has played a major role in my life, growing up here,” she says. “And now, it gives me the opportunity to come home and be close to my family and friends and to raise my two sons very near their grandparents and extended family.”  

On a broader scale, Dr. Gullatt is guided by something her grandfather taught her: “Your patients don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Listening to her patients is her highest priority. “I’m open to all different forms of childbirth, and I’m happy to adapt to my patient’s birth plan.”

WK Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists is located at 8001 Youree Drive, Suite 600, in the Medical Office Building at WK Pierremont and is adding partners over the next few months.

Dr. Gullatt accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
