Oner Khera, MD, has joined the Willis-Knighton Physician Network, establishing the WK Spine Clinic at WK Pierremont Health Center. His clinic is at 8001 Youree Drive, Suite 450, in Shreveport.

Dr. Khera is an experienced spine surgeon who has been practicing in Phoenix, AZ since 2011 and performs surgery on the entire spine, including revision spine surgery for those patients who have had prior surgery.  In Phoenix, he was recognized with the Rising Physician Leader Award, given by HonorHealth Deer Valley Hospital, and was also voted a Phoenix "Top Doc" in orthopaedic spine surgery.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He also completed graduate studies at Georgetown University, George Mason University and The George Washington University prior to entering medical school.

He trained as a resident in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Cincinnati Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and then completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at University of Rochester Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Khera is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and treats all ailments of the spine and neck, exploring non-surgical options with patients whenever possible.

He is accepting new patients and most insurance plans.
