The availability of pulmonary critical care at Willis-Knighton has been significantly enhanced with the arrival of Kevin Langlois, MD, and Kamal Masri, MD, who have established WK Lung Specialists. Their clinic is on the campus of Willis-Knighton Medical Center in the Medical Arts Building, 2551 Greenwood Road, Suite 210.
A native of Port Allen, La., Dr. Langlois received his medical training at American University of the Caribbean near Miami, Fla., after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in biological science from LSU in Baton Rouge. He completed a residency in internal medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Masri achieved his pre-medical school education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and received his medical training at Medical University of the Americas, followed by an internship in internal medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Both physicians have completed pulmonary critical care fellowships at LSUHSC.
WK Lung Specialists treats the full array of pulmonary diseases and conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease and more. They are also committed to working with patients to help them stop smoking.
