Jason D. Kinkartz, MD, MSc, FAAOS, FAOSSM, has joined The Orthopaedic Clinic in Shreveport. The clinic also includes H. Ryan Bicknell, Jr., MD, J. Scott Bicknell, MD, Karl Bilderback, MD, Cambize Shahrdar, MD, Milan Mody, MD, John Ferrell, MD, Edward Morgan, MD, James ZumBrunnen, MD, and Patrick A Massey, MD.
Dr. Kinkartz, who is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of Cincinnati Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was awarded a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Denver where he served as assistant team physician for the Denver Broncos National Football League team and for the Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball team. He has also served as team physician and consultant for college and high school teams during his career.
His educational background includes a medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., and a bachelor of science degree, graduating with honors, from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, (Canada). He also holds a master of science in microbiology and immunology from University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
The Orthopaedic Clinic is located at 7925 Youree Drive. Dr. Kinkartz and his partners welcome new patients and accept most insurance plans.
