Michelle Chico, MD, has established the Center for Endocrinology and Diabetes on the campus of Willis-Knighton Medical Center. Her office is located in suite 411 of the Medical Arts Building, 2551 Greenwood Road.

After earning a medical degree in her native India, Dr. Chico completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, where she was named chief resident. She was later awarded a fellowship in endocrinology at the same institution. 

Following completion of the fellowship, Dr. Chico entered private practice locally and has specialized in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism since 2008. 

Dr. Chico is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

The clinic accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
