Julie Cupp, MD, has joined the Willis-Knighton Physician Network and established Willis-Knighton Breast Health and Surgical Specialists at 7843 Youree Drive in Shreveport. The office is located next to the WK Breast Health Center at WK Portico Center.

Dr. Cupp earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a minor in psychology from McNeese State University in Lake Charles and was accepted into medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Following medical school she completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Iowa, where she also performed two years of research in breast disease and parathyroid disease. She then completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. 

As a breast surgery specialist, Dr. Cupp not only offers breast surgery but also concentrates on the psychosocial effects on patients with breast disease. 

Dr. Cupp accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
