ACNP or PA-C needed for Transplant Nephrology service for the WK North campus. Primarily a medical/non-surgical consulting service managing: newly transplanted kidney, kidney/pancreas, and pancreas recipients during their hospital stay including time in the ICU; post kidney, post kidney/pancreas, and pancreas recipients during their hospital stays during non-transplant related admissions for immunosuppression management and for any admissions with renal/pancreatic concerns. Monday to Friday team rounds with the rest of the transplant service including transplant surgeons, transplant hepatologist, transplant pharmacist, transplant social worker, transplant dietician, case management, and transplant nurses. Monday to Friday clinic following hospital work consisting of pre-transplant evaluations, post-transplant evaluations, and annual transplant waitlist evaluations. Weeknight call and Saturday/Sunday weekend call compensated with schedule dependent on number of practitioners in nephrology service. Transplant surgery has their own call schedule. Would currently be joining two transplant nephrologists and a transplant physician assistant.
