The journey of life involves transitions. Willis-Knighton Hospice of Louisiana focuses on quality of life rather than quantity of life, allowing the patient to live at home with loved ones and familiar surroundings. Here, the patient lives this stage of life his or her own way.
The concept of hospice care was first offered in North Louisiana by Willis-Knighton, making this the oldest and most experienced hospice program in our region. The program offers skilled services and compassionate support from a team of professionals, including an attending physician, medical director, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides, auxiliary services and volunteers. This team works with the patient and the family to provide a high level of care and comfort at this stage of life.

We can be reached Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A hospice nurse is also available to patients and for weekend referrals by calling the same number and asking to be connected to the hospice nurse.
