Study Title
Observational Study of Patients with Polycythemia Vera in U.S. Clinical Practices (REVEAL)
Purpose
To describe the clinical burden, healthcare resource utilization, complications, practice patterns, and therapy strategies in patients treated for PV in academic & community clinical practices within the United States.
Eligibility
Patients 18 years of age or older
Diagnosis of PV Currently receiving care for PV by a physician
Willing & able to complete patient assessment questionnaires
Not diagnosed with myelofibrosis (MF), secondary Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), or Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)
Has not had a stem cell transplant or splenectomy
Study Process
Data will be collected at Enrollment & at usual care visits, assumed to be approximately every 3-6 Months
Quality of life questionnaires will be completed at Enrollment & at 3-month intervals
Optional blood sample collected at Enrollment & annually for genetic mutation analysis
