Our Team
Babies in the NICU are cared for by a team that includes specially trained pediatricians called neonatologists. These physicians have additional training in the care of premature or ill infants with complex health conditions. Unlike general pediatricians who provide ongoing care in office settings, these physicians practice exclusively in the NICU, focusing on infant care 24/7.
The staff includes six neonatal nurse practitioners who, with support staff, provide care 24/7.
