Women’s Health Associates in Bossier City has added Rodney Armand, MD, FACOG, to the practice located in Suite 240 of WK Bossier Health Center, 2400 Hospital Drive. Dr. Armand joins John R. Carter, MD, FACOG, K. Leslie Dean, MD, FACOG, Glenda Johnson, M.D., FACOG and Gina M. Gomez, MD, FACOG, in the obstetrics and gynecology practice.
A graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana, Dr. Armand earned his medical degree from LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine. He completed an obstetrical and gynecological residency at National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Md. The National Capital Consortium is a joint military medical residency program between the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
A retired commander and decorated veteran of the U.S. Navy, Dr. Armand comes to Willis-Knighton from the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., where he served as head of the obstetrics and gynecology department.
Dr. Armand is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
