Five endoscopic laboratories are available, one at each hospital and an outpatient laboratory on the campus of Willis-Knighton South & the Center for Women’s Health. These diagnostic laboratories offer special procedures to help with the diagnosis and detection of problems related to the gastrointestinal tract, such as ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, reflux disease, stomach pain, difficulty swallowing, polyps and cancer.
Each laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art digital technology that communicates throughout the health system electronically. The linking capabilities allow a physician to access images from a procedure at any of the locations.
The skilled staff of nurses and technicians provides support to gastroenterologists located on each Willis-Knighton campus.
